15.05.2022I took 3 party busses full of berserkers, 2 chaos leviathans and my own fat blob of terminators against a full deathwing termi list. Didnāt stand a chance. Pretty oppressive. Watched him do the same thing vs craftworld as well.

12.05.2022This is just way too mutch, Terminators in a 5 man squad are now more durable than a leman russ, classic power creep, 1 why does this apply to vehicles as well, 2. RAW this makes ap 0 ap+1, wtf, why is a gun adding saves?
3. This is not needed, just reduce the ap of select weapons that are a problem. And stop adding ap-1 to everything.
4. This issue could be solved by increasing situational cover rules rather than flat buffs
5. Fuck GW not coming in now until they clean up this mess of a game.

11.05.2022I'm boosting what some have already said, but don't discount Salamander Terminators! Given that we can boost the toughness of them on top of denying wound rerolls made against our units is a very nice durability boost!

11.05.2022I was already looking at adding more terminators to my list.
You'd have to have AP -5 or better to force me to use the invuln. save. Bring my Assault Terminators to 10 and swap over to lightning claws to force my opponent to make more saves. Grab a terminator chaplain to go with them for Canticle and Exortation. Being in Salamanders and ignoring wound rerolls against me makes this decision easier.

Now a terminator in cover basically gets a 2+vs pretty much any gauss weapon…

11.05.2022I own a big mix of unopened Dark Angels boxes including Primaris and Firstbornand I'm nervous that GW will be forcing first born out, maybe starting with the 2.0 Codex. I'd hate to open up my 5-6 boxes of Deathwing Termies, 4 Boxes of RavenWingBikers with 2 attack bikes and Lansspeed Vengeance to see them go legends within a year.

Centurions are t5, 2+base and can go down to an affective -1 as iron hands.

09.05.2022I truely love DG, they are my main army always have been. They are still bottom 5 army with armour of contempt. Because they can't play the board against a anyone with a brain. Fortunately, the majority of players just walk forward and roll dice, so DG dominant average boards. I perfer them in a space like this. But I still dont see why they dont have a FnP now, they where getting rid of FnP's and extra dice rolls at the start of 9th.. look at the game now, FnP's everywhere again. Give DG back thier shit, even if it's just army wide FnP on 6's. There is no justification anymore since they fairly quickly started adding dice rolls on dice roll back to the game rolls eyes

Salamanders who have a strat for essentially an all is dust style save and you can't reroll wounds against them.

Imperial Fists…. I know shocking right but they may have the potentially most durable terminators. They have two strats that can stack to give a 0+ save plus cover (so effectively a -2 with AOC and cover included) (shield unwavering and bolster defenses). Also a 6+ fnp vs anything in case you are out of apothecary range with pain is a lesson. Use their successor the exorcists and they get baby transhuman and 5+ fnp vs mortals… but they also get a relic to give a character +1 save and permanent transhuman. I think if you are trying to play the durability game fists are the way to go.

09.05.2022I love my Word Bearers Anointed, but Iām not going to be fielding them anytime soon. This editionās bloat gives me a headache, and piling a āthe poster boys have higher enduranceā rule on top of the last twelve months of various āarmour basically means nothing any moreā rules makes that problem worse. And thatās if I can even get half a dozen over-illuminated PDFās to load on my five year old tablet.
Give everyone a codex then do another reset to indexhammer with an all-in-one app thatās optimised for speed and a rules set that doesnāt require tables conform to obscure ITC standards to avoid a leafblower situation and I might come back.
