Auggie K.’s Walk-off Seals the Deal in Westco Storm 10U Victory Over Slammers Fury 10U
Westco Storm 10U took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off sacrifice fly at the end of the game to topple Slammers Fury 10U.
The game was tied at three with Westco Storm 10U batting in the bottom of the sixth when Auggie K’s sac fly scored one run for Westco Storm 10U.
Slammers Fury 10U got on the board in the first inning when an error scored one run for Slammers Fury 10U.
Stryker S got the win for Westco Storm 10U. The righthander lasted three innings, allowing zero hits and one run while striking out two and walking zero. Auggie threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Edward F took the loss for Slammers Fury 10U. The righty lasted four innings, allowing one hit and two runs while striking out 11.
Westco Storm 10U tallied one home run on the day. Jordan G had a homer in the sixth inning. Stryker led Westco Storm 10U with two hits in three at bats. Stryker led Westco Storm 10U with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with seven stolen bases.
Slammers Fury 10U didn’t commit a single error in the field. Jimmy H had the most chances in the field with 11.
